Well here I am. First post in the new house. We got everything moved yesterday save for a few odds and ends and some trash. We slept our first night here last night without incident, well, except for a scared little kitty. :(
When we brought Lucy over she sniffed and cried a bit, and then ran into an open kitchen cabinet and hid. She stayed there for a couple hours before finally venturing out. She went to Amanda's room for a while and finally is out this morning looking around and acting normal.
The house right now is a complete wreck. Our garage is full of boxes and so are all of our rooms. We're slowly unpacking and settling in. We'll probably take our time with this, as last week got us pretty tired.
So today is for relaxing and easy-paced unpacking. I'm going to make a run to a few stores later and pick up a new bookshelf and a wireless adapter for my Xbox 360. I'm a little wary of playing online via wireless, but I'll give it a shot. I really don't want to have to play "hide the wires" in order to run wires all the way from the modem in my room to the Xbox in the living room.
